About The Position

The Tanabe Gluer Assistant B is responsible for stacking off the finished product in bundles to make a unit. The person in this position will also help the Tanabe Gluer Operator and the Tanabe Gluer Assistant A set up the machine. This person will need to monitor the finished product for quality and keep accurate unit counts. This is a safety sensitive position requiring the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. The role also requires the ability to work overtime and weekends as required, and on a rotating shift as needed. The position involves working in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people, and requires effective teamwork, communication, and the ability to read a tape measure/ruler and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

Stack off and unitize finished product
Maintain a clean work area
Assist maintenance in the repair of the machine as necessary
Rotate positions every couple of hours
Fill in for Tanabe Gluer Operator and Tanabe Gluer Assistant A in his/her/their absence
Monitor the finished product for quality
Complete paperwork for each order as necessary
Check finished product for quality per customer specifications
Ensure quality is a work priority by being attentive to detail and accuracy and by actively seeking work process improvements— quality is the responsibility of all employees
Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
