Assistant Automotive Photographer
About The Position
This entry-level role supports automotive production photography and online merchandising at Fred Martin Superstore. No photography experience is necessary; training is provided. The position primarily involves staging vehicles and producing automotive digital content, while also supporting the principal photographer, uploading and merchandising content, and assisting with quality control of online photos. The role may also involve cleaning vehicles and photographing new arrivals, along with other duties required by the Marketing Department to help ensure high-quality photos. Much of the work involves staging, cleaning, lighting, and quality control—not just taking photographs. The schedule is 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday and Saturday. Fridays and Sundays are off, and Saturday work is non-negotiable. The starting wage is $15.00 per hour. The position requires a clean driving record, good computer skills, and some experience in digital photo editing. Candidates should be self-motivated, take pride in their work, accept personal responsibility, and be punctual. Requirements

Responsibilities
- Assist the principal photographer with staging and creating automotive digital photo content.
- Assist with uploading digital content to various autogroup websites.
- Assist with digital merchandising of content online.
- Assist with production of Fred Martin T.V. Show: The Car Connection.
- Prepare and move vehicles for photography.
- Walk the lot to locate vehicles that were missed for photography and bring them into the lineup.
- Monitor the quality of online photos.
- Clean vehicles or photograph new arrivals as needed.
- Assist with duties required by the Marketing Department to help ensure high-quality photos.
