Faculty Position: Assistant Attending Physician, Gastrointestinal Oncology Service, Department of Medicine
About The Position
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a full-time Assistant Attending Physician or higher for its Gastrointestinal Oncology Service in the Division of Solid Tumor Oncology, Department of Medicine. The role focuses on caring for patients with gastrointestinal malignancies of all types, as well as education, training, and research. The position will serve practices in the Long Island, New Jersey, and Manhattan geographic areas, at New York City and/or Regional Network locations. Candidates should have a strong background in treating all gastrointestinal cancers and superb clinical and interpersonal skills. Requirements
- MD, DO, or equivalent.
- Board eligible or board certified in Medical Oncology.
- Eligible for New York and New Jersey state licensure.
- Certification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Child Abuse Identification & Reporting.
- Strong background in treating all gastrointestinal cancers.
- Superb clinical and interpersonal skills; critical thinking, motivation, empathy, and ability to work as a team player.
