About The Position

This position will serve as the athletic trainer for assigned teams and will work as part of the Sports Medicine team to facilitate the care of student-athletes.

Requirements

• Master's Degree
• BOC certified
• Indiana License or ability to obtain
• CPR/First aide certified

Responsibilities

• Evaluation of illnesses, injuries, and course of action.
• Assist in coordinating appropriate medical personnel coverage and travel with assigned teams for away competition.
• Serve as a liaison for the medical care and well-being between student-athletes, coaches, physicians, healthcare providers and sports medicine staff.
• Update and maintain accurate medical records for individual student-athletes including medical history, physical exam forms, daily injury reports and progress notes.
• Responsible for operating and implementing preseason physicals.
