About The Position
This position will serve as the athletic trainer for assigned teams and will work as part of the Sports Medicine team to facilitate the care of student-athletes.
Requirements
- Master's Degree
- 1-2 Years of Experience in Collegiate Athletics preferred
Nice To Haves
- BOC certified
- Indiana License or ability to obtain
- CPR/First aide certified
Responsibilities
- Evaluation of illnesses, injuries, and course of action.
- Assist in coordinating appropriate medical personnel coverage and travel with assigned teams for away competition.
- Serve as a liaison for the medical care and well-being between student-athletes, coaches, physicians, healthcare providers and sports medicine staff.
- Update and maintain accurate medical records for individual student-athletes including medical history, physical exam forms, daily injury reports and progress notes.
- Responsible for operating and implementing preseason physicals.
