About The Position

This position provides front-line support for UW student-athletes while they compete in their sport. The role offers opportunities to gain professional relationships and knowledge of various sports, first aid care, and general sports medicine. This position serves University of Wyoming student athletes and is located at the High Altitude Performance Center.

Requirements

Currently Enrolled at the University of Wyoming as a student
Eligible, have received and accepted work study award through Student Financial Aid for the applicable semester and/or academic year.
Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the Driving for University Business SAP

Responsibilities

Assist Certified Athletic Trainers with set-up and tear down of athletic team practices and events
Help with the daily operations of the athletic training room under supervision of staff certified athletic trainers
Provide on-going hydration and athletic observation during athletic practices and events
Assist with Athletic Training room maintenance, inventory and cleaning
Occasional travel with team to away contests for game-day assistance as assigned
Adhere to confidentiality guidelines
Other duties as assigned
