About The Position

Serves as the operational leader for Livingstone College. This position oversees facilities management, event operations, transportation logistics, security planning, and internal systems that support athletic programs. The role serves as the department's primary authority for athletic event security and risk management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as: Business Administration, Sport Management, Finance / Accounting, Public Administration
  • 3–5+ years in college athletics operations
  • Experience in: Budgeting or business office operations
  • Event or game-day operations
  • Travel coordination and logistics
  • Exposure to NCAA compliance and reporting

Responsibilities

  • Oversees daily athletics operations and facilities scheduling through college event management
  • Coordinate conferences, camps, clinics, and hosted events
  • Serves as lead Game Day Administrator for football
  • Direct all athletic event security planning and execution
  • Serve as primary liaison to campus safety and local law enforcements
  • Develop security staffing plans. Credentialing systems and access control procedures.
  • Lead emergency action planning and incident response protocols
  • Oversee audiovisual systems including video boards, sound systems, scorer's tables and Daktronics displays.
  • Serve as departmental contact for Hudl
  • Serve as liaisons to facilities, campus safety, information technology and dining services
  • Other duties as assigned
