About The Position

The Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University (University Park, PA) invites applications for one or more Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor positions beginning in Fall 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in business communication. In addition to instruction, the individual will support the teaching mission of the Department through regular office hours, student counseling and advising, involvement in student extra-curricular activities, and academic administration. This is a term position; length of the term will be discussed during the interview process. Continuation past the term length discussed will be based on university need, performance, and/or availability of funding. Approval of remote and hybrid work is not guaranteed regardless of work location.

Requirements

• Advanced degrees in communication or related areas
• On-site teaching is an essential function of the job
