Assistant/Associate Professor
About The Position
Southeastern Louisiana University's Department of Accounting and Finance in the College of Business seeks to fill a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Finance position beginning either January or August 2027. This role involves teaching undergraduate and potentially MBA courses in finance, conducting research, and contributing to service activities within the department, college, and university. Southeastern Louisiana University is a comprehensive university with approximately 15,000 students, accredited by SACSCOC, and its College of Business is accredited by AACSB. The university is located in Hammond, LA, a vibrant area offering numerous cultural, recreational, and research opportunities, within an hour's drive of New Orleans and Baton Rouge.
Requirements
- Terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a closely related discipline by hire date
- A record of scholarly publications (required for Associate Professor level)
- Teaching experience in the discipline (required for Associate Professor level)
- Commitment to teaching and conducting quality research
Responsibilities
