About The Position

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for two full-time tenure-track positions in mathematics to begin in August 2027. For one of these positions, we seek a candidate whose scholarship is in algebra (broadly defined). The ideal candidate will show interest or have experience teaching Modern Algebra, Number Theory, and/or Combinatorics. The other position is open to candidates from any area of mathematics. One of these positions will be at the assistant professor level; the other may be at an assistant professor or associate professor level (without tenure). In particular, we seek applicants who are interested in working with students on undergraduate research projects.
