The Biomedical Sciences (BMS) program is a master’s degree program that prepares graduate students for the rigors of medical, dental, and other biomedical professional degree programs. The BMS program is offered in two modalities: online live and face-to-face in person. Professors teach in person in the classroom with both in-person and fully online student attendees at the same time. The Biomedical Sciences program is seeking a full-time faculty member with the expertise and experience necessary to teach biomedical sciences courses equal to the rigor of those taught in medical schools. Examples of content areas are: Gross Anatomy, Human Physiology, Molecular Genetics, Pathophysiology, Forensic Pathology, Embryology, Microbiology (and others). The ideal candidate will have the background knowledge and teaching experience to deliver the content at the expected level. Full-time faculty in the BMS program are expected to contribute to Barry University in the areas of teaching, scholarship, and service. This position is Hybrid (in-Person/Remote) The anticipated start date for this position is January 1, 2027.
