About The Position
Texas Woman’s University (TWU) College of Nursing, with campuses in Denton, Dallas, and Houston, is seeking applications for Assistant and Associate Professor positions on the Houston campus. TWU is the nation's largest university primarily for women, accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, and holds the Carnegie Classification of Doctoral/Professional Universities. Our faculty are dedicated to excellence in teaching, practice, scholarship, and service. This tenure-track position involves didactic and clinical teaching in both Undergraduate and Graduate Nursing programs. Responsibilities include teaching, scholarship, and academic service. The preferred candidate will have an earned Doctorate in Nursing or a related field and be eligible for RN licensure in Texas. The College of Nursing is accredited by the Texas Board of Nursing and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
