About The Position
Texas Woman’s University College of Nursing is seeking applications for Assistant and Associate Professor positions on the Houston campus. Texas Woman’s University (TWU) is a large university primarily for women, accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges and holds the Carnegie Classification of Doctoral/Professional Universities. The College of Nursing is accredited by the Texas Board of Nursing and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. This tenure-track position involves didactic and clinical teaching across both Undergraduate and Graduate Nursing programs, with faculty responsibilities including teaching, scholarship, and academic service.
Requirements
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in a focused area of Nursing
- Eligible for RN licensure in the state of Texas
- Ability to provide documents that establish proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States
- If male between the ages of 18 and 25, must be registered with the U.S. Selective Service System, unless exempt
