About The Position

The Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, invites applications for Assistant/Associate Professor of Family and Community Medicine. The Department of Family and Community Medicine seeks dedicated and innovative full-time Family and Community Medicine clinical faculty at the Assistant/Associate level. These positions offer a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while contributing to the education and development of future healthcare professionals in an academic setting. Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree.
  • Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, or complete certification within two years of completing residency.
  • Completed a Family Medicine Residency Program from an ACGME accredited institution.
  • Eligible for an unrestricted Nevada medical, Nevada pharmacy and DEA license.
  • Eligible for malpractice coverage.
  • Meet credentialing requirements.
  • Able to obtain privileges at University Medical Center (UMC) and other site locations as needed.
  • Credentials must be obtained prior to the start of employment.
