About The Position

The TTUHSC Department of Urology is dedicated to providing the highest standard of urologic care in a compassionate and thorough manner using the latest technology. We offer a comprehensive educational experience encompassing all fields of urology to provide our residents with the training to succeed in either academic or private practice.

Requirements

• MD, DO, or MBBS
• Completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 3
• Completion of, or in the process of completing, a Urology Residency
• ABMS Board Eligible, in the process of becoming Board Eligible, or Board Certified in Urology

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, comprehensive urologic care for patients
• Diagnose and treat cancers of the urinary tract and reproductive system
• Develop and implement treatment plans including screening, therapy and medications
• Provide procedural and surgical care as needed
• Coordinate care with referring provider and other specialists, if applicable
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment and procedures
• Complete accurate and timely medical record documentation
• Participation in resident and medical student education
