About The Position

The LSUAM COB - School of Accounting is seeking to hire an Assistant / Associate / Full Professor. This position involves performing scholarly research with the expectation of publication in top accounting journals, teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels, serving on dissertation committees, and providing service to the University and the profession. The school is particularly interested in scholars with research and teaching interests in financial accounting, auditing, taxation, and managerial accounting. A Full Professor with tenure will be considered for the Thomas Daigre Endowed Chair of Business Administration.

Requirements

PhD in Accounting or related field
Assistant Professor applicants must have PhD in Acct. or related field; (ABD candidates considered but degree must be conferred by 08/14/27)
Associate Professor applicants must have a PhD in Accounting or related field and hold the title of Assistant or Associate Professor at another university
Full Professor applicants must possess a PhD in Accounting or related field and hold the title of Associate Professor or Full Professor at another university
Valid U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and maintain that valid work authorization throughout employment
