About The Position

The Department of Neurology at the University of Florida invites applications for a full-time, open-rank faculty position in Neurocritical Care/ Epilepsy, available on either the tenure or non-tenure track, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The successful candidate will provide inpatient clinical care, including attending service in the Neurocritical Care Unit and neurocritical care consultation. They will also participate in the education and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows. Additionally, the role involves supporting the Division of Epilepsy by interpreting continuous and routine EEG studies in critically ill hospitalized patients.

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree (M.D./Ph.D. or D.O./Ph.D. acceptable)
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited neurology residency
  • Completion of an accredited Neurocritical Care fellowship
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Neurocritical Care
  • Dedicated training in Critical Care EEG
