About The Position

Plans, organizes and directs the day-to-day operations of an organizational unit, providing leadership to administrative and financial operations. May oversee financial planning, human resource administration, procurement, and property management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and six (6) years of experience in external relations, marketing, promotions, public relations, communications, or a similar field or Master's Degree and four (4) year of relevant experience.
  • Must provide and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight of Memphis Athletics Fund.
  • Guide strategic direction of all annual revenue planning.
  • Management of the function of the annual fund which includes developing annual fund structure, communications, and marketing plans.
  • Provide leadership and advocation for women's sports programs' external strategy which includes marketing plans, planning and hosting fundraising events, and managing a donor portfolio specifically geared toward generating resources for women’s sports.
  • Oversight of all donor stewardship and events.
  • Supervisor for the Associate Director of Athletic Stewardship & Engagement, Associate Director of Athletics Gift Processing and Business Operations, and the Director of Athletic Annual Fund & Letter Winner Relations positions.
  • Actively work to identify funding needs across the department and sport programs and work alongside financial leadership to develop strategies to acquire necessary resources/funding for sports, projects, etc.
  • Sport Administrator to assigned sport program.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Chief Revenue Officer, Athletic Director, and/or Deputy AD/SWA related to Memphis Tigers Athletics.
