About The Position

The Assistant/Associate Analyst of Supply Chain S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) plays a critical role in enabling efficient, scalable growth across North America and EMEA by connecting demand, inventory, capacity, and network planning into an integrated decision-making process. This role leverages data, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to identify risks, evaluate tradeoffs, and provide actionable recommendations that optimize service, inventory productivity, and operational performance. This individual will also support the continued expansion of A&F's global wholesale (3P) business by helping design, operationalize, and scale supply chain S&OP capabilities that enable profitable growth across new channels, geographies, and business models. Working closely with Planning, Supply Chain, Finance, Strategy, and Technology partners, this role will help advance A&F's integrated planning capabilities while supporting strategic initiatives that shape the future of the supply chain network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or related experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory planning, demand planning, operations analytics, supply chain strategy, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of integrated supply chain planning concepts, including demand planning, inventory management, capacity planning, S&OP/IBP, and supply chain performance metrics.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI preferred) to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and communicate actionable insights.
  • Experience analyzing complex business problems, evaluating tradeoffs, and developing data-driven recommendations that influence business decisions.
  • Ability to translate data into clear, concise insights and effectively communicate recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence cross-functional partners, and drive alignment across competing priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Demonstrates intellectual curiosity, ownership, strategic thinking, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable working across teams, functions, regions, and time zones.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SQL, planning systems, or data modeling tools is a plus.
  • Experience supporting wholesale, marketplace, omnichannel, or third-party (3P) fulfillment models is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support a standardized and scalable Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process by preparing data, maintaining reporting, and enabling cross-functional alignment across demand, inventory, capacity, and network planning.
  • Analyze forecasts, inventory positions, and capacity plans across the network to identify risks, constraints, and opportunities, providing recommendations that support both near-term execution and long-range planning objectives.
  • Develop scenario analyses to evaluate the impact of demand shifts, capacity constraints, inventory strategies, and business initiatives on operational and financial performance.
  • Assess inventory health across the network, identifying opportunities to improve inventory productivity, increase service levels, reduce risk, and support financial goals.
  • Monitor key performance indicators including forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, and capacity utilization, translating data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities that drive continuous improvement and business performance.
  • Support the expansion of A&F's global wholesale (3P) business by evaluating supply chain requirements, demand patterns, fulfillment strategies, and operational capabilities needed to support growth.
  • Partner cross-functionally to design and implement scalable planning processes and supply chain solutions for new channels, products, markets, and business models.
  • Evaluate the operational impact of strategic initiatives and provide recommendations that align business opportunities with supply chain capabilities and performance expectations.
  • Support node-level sourcing and fulfillment strategy decisions by assessing cost, speed, service, inventory, and capacity tradeoffs to optimize customer experience and network performance.
  • Build strong partnerships across Planning, Supply Chain, Finance, Strategy, Technology, and Operations to drive alignment and integrated decision-making.
  • Lead or support planning reviews and business discussions by synthesizing data into clear, concise insights for stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, tools, and reporting capabilities, contributing to a more efficient, scalable, and data-driven supply chain organization.
  • Support capability development efforts that enhance end-to-end planning visibility, decision quality, and organizational agility.
