McMenamins Mall 205 is hiring an Assistant-Assistant Manager (AAM). McMenamins is a family-owned company operating in Oregon and Washington, known for its handcrafted beverages and pub fare. The AAM's primary responsibility is to assist in all pub operations under the direction of the Pub Manager. This role requires the ability to perform non-management duties, including opening and closing the pub. The AAM will often act as the host, oversee shifts, and ensure smooth operations. Duties include working seasonally outdoors and indoors, maintaining excellent customer relations, assigning sections to servers, taking food and beverage orders, delivering products, collecting payment, cashiering, operating a point-of-sale system, setting up and breaking down service areas, regulating labor, overseeing side work, performing cleaning duties, and training staff. Administrative duties as assigned by the manager are also part of the role. The AAM must effectively handle personnel and customer service issues, provide excellent customer service to meet needs and requests, and ensure customer satisfaction. They must be able to troubleshoot problems during shifts and report issues to management. This position involves hard physical work and requires the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. The AAM must work well both independently and as part of a team.
