About The Position

Oversees and directs one or more aspects of the Operations Department. This role involves processing and evaluating superintendent reports, serving as fire chief and/or On Scene incident commander, evaluating and resolving process unit problems, monitoring all process data, lab data and operations programs (Safety, PSM, etc.). The position may also involve developing a plan of operations and implementing all requirements to meet the plan, as well as resolving all operations personnel issues and performing special assignments or tasks assigned by their manager.

Requirements

A minimum of eight years of on-the-job experience is required.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience, is required.
Ability to lead and direct the work of other associates.
Proficient with spreadsheet, presentation and word processing applications
Strong planning, problem-solving, interpersonal, organizational, leadership, analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
General understanding of corporate governance practices, handling regulatory compliance including State, Federal and various other government authorities.
Proven leadership skills including mentoring, decision making, delegation and motivating others.
Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and respirator as needed.
No Beards.
May be required to work in confined spaces.
Ability to operate and drive all assigned company vehicles at company standard insurance rates is required.

Nice To Haves

A significant amount of experience in the energy industry is preferred.
Certifications in various types of emergency response.

Responsibilities
