We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Administrator (LNFA) who is ready to further develop their operational leadership skills in a high-performing skilled nursing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed nursing facility administrator who has already gained Assistant Administrator experience and is looking to take the next step toward becoming an Administrator. Working alongside an experienced Executive Director, you will play a critical role in supporting daily operations, driving quality outcomes, fostering team engagement, and ensuring regulatory compliance while helping create an exceptional resident experience.

Requirements

  • Current Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator (LNFA) license in the State of Texas.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an Assistant Administrator or AIT in a skilled nursing facility.
  • Direct participation in at least one state regulatory survey, including survey preparation and follow-up activities.
  • Demonstrated understanding of long-term care regulations, compliance requirements, and operational best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to lead with professionalism, integrity, and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the community with a focus on quality care, service excellence, regulatory compliance, and employee engagement.
  • Support efforts to achieve operational, financial, clinical, and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, physicians, referral sources, and community partners.
  • Promote and model The Touchstone Experience by creating a culture of compassion, accountability, respect, and service excellence.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to strengthen team member retention, engagement, and development.
  • Participate in survey preparation, regulatory compliance activities, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in managing community performance metrics and operational objectives.
  • Support business development, occupancy growth, and community outreach efforts.
  • Serve as a leadership resource for Human Resources, Business Office, and other operational departments as needed.
  • Assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Executive Director.
