About The Position

Assist in maintaining licensure and certification of the community; ensures compliance with state and federal regulations. In the absence of the administrator, charged with carrying out the administrative authority and responsibility of operating the Higher Levels of Living. Maintain a positive relationship with representatives of governmental agencies who survey and inspect the community. Conduct health center physical inspections; perform evaluations for State Board of Health inspections. Maintain awareness of Medicare Prospective Payment issues which influence the operation of the health center. Maintain familiarity with the community’s Quality Indicator Reports. Review AR metrics and participate in monthly AR meetings and collection efforts as designated by collections policy. Approve filing for representative payee for applicable residents/patients. Evaluate acceptability of outside private pay move-ins. Coach team members on a good application of falls programs, life enrichment and activities programming. Supervise assigned department directors; attend and participate in department director and community meetings. Provide coaching and development to leaders and team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Possess a valid state Nursing Home Administrator License or meet the requirements to obtain or transfer to a state Nursing Home Administrator License within 60 days.
  • Completed an Administrator in Training Program.
  • in a health care or life care community environment.
  • Possess a valid Assisted Living Administrator certificate or license or meet the requirements to obtain or transfer to the current state within 120 days.
