About The Position
The University of Northern Iowa's School of Music seeks applications for a temporary Assistant Adjunct Professor of Viola, starting in August 2026. Responsibilities include teaching applied lessons in viola, weekly studio class, music theory class, and recruiting both music majors and non-majors into the music program.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in viola performance or closely related field
- Successful college-level teaching experience

- Doctoral degree in viola performance or closely related field (ABD will be considered)
- At least three years of successful college-level teaching experience
