About The Position
Associate AD for Sports Medicine/ Assistant Head Athletic Trainer, providing leadership in college athletics. Ensuring the healthcare and safety of student-athletes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Two Years’ Experience in collegiate athletics
- Employment experience or eligible to obtain Athletic Training licensure from the State of North Carolina.
- CPR/AED Certification - Healthcare Provider or equivalent
- NATABOC Certification
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Must be able to work nights, weekend and travel.
- Experience coordinating sports medicine services at NCAA Division 2 level.
- Experience that demonstrates the ability to effectively lead and manage a collective group of healthcare professionals from various fields and backgrounds.
- Ability to adjust.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Masters Preferred
Responsibilities
- Providing clinical expertise, and administrative oversight to the team of athletic trainers while collaborating closely with team physicians, coaches, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of the student-athletes.
- Provide wellness information, maintaining records and training rehabilitation.
- Other duties as assigned.
