About The Position

This role works directly with clients to support their general accounting needs and assist with data-driven decision-making. You'll split your time between our Loveland and Greenwood Village offices. When you join us, you'll earn $75,000 - $90,000 per year (depending on experience) and enjoy exceptional benefits. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00/8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Our Assistant Accounting Manager provides critical support to clients, delivering valuable insights into day-to-day and long-term financial strategies. In addition to general accounting responsibilities, such as maintaining ledgers and creating financial statements, you'll support clients with managing payroll, processing accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining regulatory compliance. With an analytical mindset, you'll assist clients with preparing budgets, forecasting financial needs, coordinating audits, and additional responsibilities as needed. You'll ensure clients' records are accurate, financial processes are properly completed, and all activities comply with industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • 3+ years of experience in governmental or nonprofit accounting
  • Strong fund accounting knowledge
  • Solid proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to pass a background check.
