About The Position
Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Account Manager to join a team. This role is integral to supporting our account management team and ensuring the smooth operation of an agency. The ideal candidate will have an active Property & Casualty (P&C) license in Texas and experience in an independent insurance agency.
Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license in Texas is required.
- Prior experience in an independent insurance agency is required.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with small commercial lines accounts is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Proficiency in Applied Epic software is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact by answering phones and acting as a receptionist.
- Assist account managers with clerical and administrative tasks.
- Support the management of small commercial lines accounts under $100k in premium.
- Utilize Applied Epic software to manage client information and accounts.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and maintain professional communication.
