About The Position

As an Assistant Account Manager, you'll help build trusted client relationships, deliver exceptional service, and provide proactive guidance that helps clients confidently navigate an evolving risk landscape.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 to 4 years of administrative experience in a professional office environment
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to grammar and detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain organization, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional demeanor with a strong customer service focus
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment including printers, copiers, scanners, and telephone systems
  • Strong organizational, proofreading, and document management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in an insurance agency, brokerage, or financial services environment
  • Familiarity with agency management systems such as Applied Epic or similar platforms
  • Experience processing insurance-related documentation and client records
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Experience coordinating office events, meetings, and administrative projects
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
  • Experience training or assisting new team members on administrative processes
  • Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to agency staff and assist with special projects as needed
  • Receive incoming telephone calls and visitors while delivering professional customer service
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, shipments, certified mail requests, and office correspondence
  • Monitor and distribute incoming emails, faxes, and voicemails according to established procedures
  • Prepare binders, reports, presentations, and other business documents as requested
  • Scan, organize, and maintain policy documents and agency records within company systems
  • Manage office supply inventory and coordinate ordering of office and kitchen supplies
  • Assist with meeting preparation, office events, administrative procedures, and operational support activities
