About The Position

We’re seeking an Assistant Account Manager with strong communication skills for our Yacht Brokerage division. This individual will support our Account Management team and liaise between Underwriters and retail Agents. Requirements

  • 1-2 years related experience in professional office environment.
  • P&C Insurance licensing in your resident state is preferred and will be required within 90 days of hire.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Technological/PC competence for computer/online work systems/programs including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe with ability to quickly learn proprietary software.
  • Capacity to multi-task efficiently and balance seasonal business spikes.
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking/problem solving to identify key issues with recommended resolutions.
  • Strong organization and time management skills, ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to emails and phone calls maintaining the One80 service expectations.
  • Prepare, review and process new business, renewal binders and policy changes within delegated authority.
  • Ensure electronic files are maintained in accordance with documentation standards and retention guidelines.
  • Maintain working knowledge of procedures and guidelines for performing daily duties, reports and supporting relationships with agents and underwriters.
  • Back up for other positions within the department during high volume or absences.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with peers and other professionals across organizational lines; ability to work effectively independently and within a collaborative team environment.
