About The Position

Drives sales by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate pricing, proper signing, inventory levels, and cleanliness. Oversees stocking, merchandise rotation, product displays, and securing high-shrink merchandise. Leads and develops teams through teaching, training, and active listening. Tours stores, provides feedback, and communicates operational information, business initiatives, and company direction. Introduces and leads change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance for business solutions. Models exceptional customer service, manages customer initiatives, resolves complaints, and develops action plans for improvement. Supervises and develops associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, providing recognition, and ensuring awareness. Builds accountability for policies and procedures, measures adherence to loss prevention policies, and reviews inventory variances. Conducts operational and pre-inventory reviews, gathers data, audits results, and monitors deficiency trends. Identifies improvement opportunities and collaborates with managers and associates to correct inventory controls. Trains managers and associates on operational controls and processes in multiple stores. Investigates violations of company policies and criminal activities, gathering evidence, taking statements, writing reports, and providing testimony. Monitors safety and risk controls, ensuring an effective safety program, supervising safety team members, identifying accident trends, and providing training on accident prevention. Manages facility-level training for asset protection, safety, claims, and receiving procedures, identifying gaps and developing/delivering training as needed. Oversees claims and receiving operations, ensuring proper procedures for claims (damaged, defective, returned, liquidated items) and merchandise deliveries. Coordinates job-related activities by developing stakeholder relationships, supporting initiatives, identifying goals, building accountability, and demonstrating adaptability. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, supporting the company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. Promotes a culture of belonging, creating opportunities for associates to thrive. Works collaboratively, builds strong relationships, and communicates with impact to motivate and influence. Attracts and retains talent, empowers and develops associates, and recognizes contributions. Requirements

  • Completion of 2 years of college.
  • 1 year’s experience as a supervisor in a multi-department environment.
  • 1 year’s experience in accounting, claims, inventory control, systems/UPC, personnel, or loss prevention/asset protection in a multi-department environment.
  • 2 years’ experience in asset protection or related area.
  • Successful completion of any applicable state requirements to work in asset protection (e.g., minimum age, specialized training, certification, licensing).
  • Acquisition of a current, state-issued Certificate of Eligibility (if applicable).
  • Successful completion of criminal background check and/or firearms authorized training (if applicable).
  • Attendance and successful completion of all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
