Models exceptional customer service, manages customer initiatives, resolves complaints, and implements action plans for improvement. Provides supervision and development for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, and recognizing contributions. Controls unexplained merchandise loss and improves profitability by identifying and communicating goals, building accountability for policies, measuring adherence, reviewing variances, conducting operational reviews, and identifying improvement opportunities. Trains managers and associates on operational controls and processes. Detects, deters, investigates, and resolves violations of company policies and criminal activities, gathering evidence, taking statements, writing reports, and providing testimony. Monitors safety and risk controls, supervises safety team members, identifies accident trends, and implements solutions. Oversees safety reviews and implements plans to improve workplace safety. Manages facility-level training and execution of asset protection, safety, claims, and receiving procedures. Identifies gaps in expectations versus training and develops and delivers training as needed. Manages claims and receiving operations, ensuring proper policies and procedures are followed, and processes claims for damaged, defective, returned, or liquidated items, as well as merchandise deliveries. Coordinates and completes job-related activities by developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans, identifying goals, building accountability, and demonstrating adaptability. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
