Provides supervision and development for associates, including hiring, training, and mentoring. Controls unexplained merchandise loss and improves profitability by setting goals, building accountability for policies, and measuring adherence. Reviews inventory variances, conducts operational reviews, and identifies improvement opportunities. Trains managers and associates on operational controls and processes. Investigates violations of company policies and criminal activities, gathering evidence, taking statements, writing reports, and providing testimony. Monitors safety and risk controls, supervises safety team members, identifies accident trends, and implements prevention solutions. Oversees safety reviews and implements plans to improve workplace safety. Manages facility-level training for asset protection, safety, claims, and receiving procedures. Identifies gaps in training and develops and delivers training as needed. Manages claims and receiving operations, ensuring proper policies and procedures are followed for processing claims (e.g., damaged, defective, returned, liquidated items) and merchandise deliveries. Coordinates and completes job-related activities by developing stakeholder relationships, supporting initiatives, identifying goals, building accountability, and demonstrating adaptability. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, and supports the company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
