The Asset Protection Associate 2nd Shift at the DC-Hazleton facility is responsible for protecting Michaels’ assets by upholding safety policies and procedures, and ensuring security. This role involves controlling inbound and outbound trailer and automobile traffic, verifying proper documentation and load bar/strap installation, and managing card access, badge systems, and key control. The associate will also perform end-of-shift bag checks, investigate incidents and accidents, conduct safety and security audits, and maintain department confidentiality. Additionally, the role supports the “After Hours” program, responding to medical and other emergencies, monitoring fire, intrusion, and access control systems, and managing the CCTV system. The associate will also maintain safety awareness programs, assist in resolving safety concerns, and contribute to safety orientations for new team members. Other related duties may be assigned by the LP Manager or LP Operations Coordinator.
