The Asset Protection Associate is responsible for observing activities to detect theft, fraud, or suspicious activity, collecting investigative evidence, and executing required company investigation routines. This role involves conducting external interviews, reporting suspected fraud, and managing records related to apprehensions and recovered merchandise. The associate will also investigate suspicious behavior, analyze intelligence on individuals involved in theft, and attend court hearings as required. Additionally, the role supports a safety culture by identifying and correcting hazards, providing emergency response, and coaching associates on safety practices. The Asset Protection Associate may also assist with audits and support stores during critical incidents.
