The Asset Protection Associate is responsible for observing activities to detect theft, fraud, or suspicious behavior, collecting investigative evidence using CCTV and direct observation, and ensuring adherence to Asset Protection Directives and Company policies, including making apprehensions. This role involves executing investigation routines to identify and resolve theft, conducting external interviews with suspected individuals, reporting suspected fraud and policy infractions, and managing records related to apprehensions, evidence, and merchandise recovery. The associate will also assist with internal investigations, analyze theft intelligence, and support a safety culture by identifying and mitigating hazards, communicating safety topics, and responding to critical incidents. Additionally, the role requires meeting established performance standards for service, productivity, and attendance.
