The Asset Protection Associate is responsible for observing activities to detect theft, fraud, or suspicious activity, collecting investigative evidence, and executing required investigation routines. This role involves conducting external interviews, reporting suspected fraud, and managing records related to apprehensions and recovered merchandise. The associate will also identify potential acts of theft and fraud by observing associate/customer activity and analyzing intelligence. Additionally, the role supports a safety culture by identifying and correcting hazards, providing emergency response, assisting with incident investigations, and coaching associates on safety practices. The Asset Protection Associate will also attend court hearings as required and maintain relationships with law enforcement.
