About The Position

The Asset Manager is responsible for overseeing the investment lifecycle of a portfolio of LIHTC multifamily assets. This includes, but is not limited to, monitoring the original investment plan, communicating about performance, and reforecasting when assets have strayed from the investment plan. The company promises they will never be ordinary, and hopes the candidate can see this by the job description. There will be many days the candidate simply isn't comfortable. They will be pushed to accomplish more than they ever thought possible. They will be challenged by their team leader and their peers to achieve more and to find better ways.

  • 2 - 5 years' experience in asset management, real estate analytics, or similar industry preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth across the portfolio
  • Determine effectiveness of expense-controlling and revenue-enhancing initiatives, and implement accordingly
  • Establish review processes to analyze financial performance against budgets
  • Conduct quarterly property visits to assess onsite performance/operations, curb appeal, and ensure Elmington standards are met
  • Forecast asset performance by conducting ongoing evaluation of cash flow to maximize annual distributions to investors
  • Analyze portfolio trends and external market trends impacting asset performance
  • Track assets' performance through various reporting methods shared with stakeholders
  • Conducts audits to ensure the portfolio is compliant with all applicable regulations
  • Work closely with the development team during underwriting and due dillingence efforts
  • Work closely with property management team, and all lines of business across Elmington
