About The Position

A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable organizations to achieve their missions, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That’s why we need an experienced network engineer like you who knows how to develop the exact network the client needs. As a network engineer on our team, you’ll use your experience in network design and architecture, system interoperability, network device configuration and usage, and virtual routing and forwarding to support the nation’s defense and respond to evolving adversaries. You’ll help support the development of enterprise-wide management solutions, work through complex device integration tasks, and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical workflows. You’ll apply your expertise as you join our team of problem-solvers to help the client evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies. Your knowledge of network protocols, equipment, emerging technology, and configurations will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernization. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to clients and engineers on mission-critical projects. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you’ll make an impact on national security-related missions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with asset management and organizational tasking
  • 3+ years of experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation or optimization
  • 3+ years of experience designing, developing, modifying, documenting, and integrating technical solutions using Agile methods
  • 2+ years of experience configuring and interacting with various network devices such as routers or switches, including command line or terminal usage
  • Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
  • Experience managing software solutions developed, tested, and deployed on multiple OS variants, including UNIX or Linux
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience in network engineering in lieu of a degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, workflows, site maintenance, APIs, or web development stacks, including Python or React
  • Experience with CNO development
  • Experience with service cyber components
  • Ability to debug, troubleshoot, monitor, and maintain the operation of application code
  • Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Master's degree
