Asset Management Senior
About The Position
Join Freddie Mac’s Multifamily Asset Management Guarantor & External Relations team to evaluate and enhance the performance of its securitized multifamily property portfolio. The role assesses the credit quality and performance of commercial real estate assets to maximize investor recovery and provide service to borrowers while complying with government regulations and company policies. It monitors portfolio performance, analyzes Watchlist, delinquency, and maturing loan reports, and communicates findings to internal and external stakeholders. The team analyzes data across its portfolio to provide intelligence to internal stakeholders, support multifamily asset performance, and deliver special projects and ad hoc reports. The position also conducts loan-level risk assessments, reviews guarantor payments and subordination levels, and mentors junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the real estate, banking, or finance industry.
- In-depth knowledge of real estate property fundamentals.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including creating macros, tables, and charts.
- Experience with MS PowerPoint and MS Word.
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities
- Monitor portfolio performance by reviewing delinquency reports, maturing loan data, and other relevant sources.
- Analyze trends at the individual property level and across the global portfolio.
- Contribute to reports about property performance.
- Assess loan-level risk by analyzing operating statements, rent rolls, and servicer property inspections.
- Review monthly statements to verify guarantor payments and subordination levels.
- Participate in special projects.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.
- Communicate issues clearly to senior management and external stakeholders.
