About The Position

This role is part of PNC's Asset Management Group (AMG) Development Program, a comprehensive, interactive program designed to prepare individuals for client-facing roles or support for investment management businesses within AMG. The program spans two years and includes classroom training and on-the-job learning, offering visibility among senior leadership. AMG works with individual, nonprofit, and corporate clients, providing sophisticated financial solutions. The program aims to transition analysts from development roles into production roles within PNC's lines of business. Opportunities are available throughout PNC's footprint, and geographic flexibility is important. Analysts will be in client-facing and sales-supporting roles.

Requirements

  • Preferred business relevant majors (e.g., Finance, Accounting, IT, Economics, Marketing, Math, Statistics, HR, Management, Communications, Business Law, Psychology, Logistics, Engineering, Actuarial Sciences)
  • Minimum GPA 3.2.
  • Roles at this level are filled by recent university / college graduates with little or no professional experience but possessing relevant skills.
  • Includes individuals joining the organization through a corporate development/training program.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Participates as an analyst in the line of business development program.
  • Performs or assists the core activities of the group by applying knowledge learned to drive business results (e.g., deal, sales, or process support, internal or external client interaction, or supporting internal projects).
  • Works under supervision and may have limited approval and/or exception authority.
  • Participates in social learning within the organization (e.g., identifies and networks with business representatives and peers, participates in mentoring, job shadowing and community outreach).
  • Participates in formal learning (e.g., classroom, web-based, or virtual) and completes related activities and projects.
  • Supports the internal and external client experience by always providing excellent service; takes accountability and ensures problem resolution.
