The Asset Management Business Analyst role supports and assists with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system administrator tasks, maintenance, and data entry to ensure data integrity and integration with supporting applications. This position works with functional and technical teams as a technical expert in Cityworks SQL Server databases and schemes, contributing to projects by analyzing, designing, configuring, deploying, and supporting service and work orders. The role involves leading project meetings, troubleshooting application issues, documenting resolutions, and training end-users on reporting mechanisms and data analysis. The analyst will also assist in developing service levels, implementing policies and procedures for asset management, conducting workflow analysis, and participating in the gathering of project requirements, development, implementation, installation, and testing of application software. They will analyze business procedures to define system needs, follow project management standards, and collaborate with technical staff to ensure system connectivity and compatibility. Additionally, the role involves maintaining security documentation, investigating complex conditions, analyzing operational impacts, and operating complex computer software. The analyst serves as a liaison between the EAM User Community and the AM Technical group, provides expertise in report writing and dashboard applications, and produces technical documentation. Attendance at conferences, meetings, and training is expected to maintain and enhance job knowledge. Management may assign additional duties as necessary.
