About The Position

Prometheus is seeking an Asset Management Analyst to join its Asset Management team. The analyst partners with Senior Asset Managers to help maximize the value and performance of the company’s multifamily portfolio. The role spans financial modeling, revenue management, budgeting, strategic planning, and portfolio performance analysis. The analyst’s work informs portfolio-level decisions and supports asset performance.

Requirements

Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with, organize, and interpret complex data sets.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
0–2 years of relevant finance experience.
A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Entrepreneurial Management, or Real Estate Management is preferred.
Multifamily real estate experience is strongly preferred.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Power BI, Yieldstar, Hyperion, OneSite/Yardi, or AI tools.

Responsibilities

Actively manage asset financial performance, including revenue management oversight, sales analysis, and refinancing analysis.
Lead property and portfolio budgeting processes and calculate returns on investment for repositioning efforts.
Benchmark portfolio performance against internal and external metrics.
Evaluate historical and current pricing and market trends to determine pricing strategies for new leases and renewals.
Partner with Portfolio Managers, Renovation Project Managers, and Property Managers to develop and implement strategic asset plans.
Help coordinate due diligence requirements with lenders and third-party consultants.
Support Acquisitions and Development teams with underwriting efforts.
Maintain and enhance the Asset Management platform; track returns and identify portfolio trends to mitigate risk and maximize revenues.
Prepare monthly ownership reports on asset performance relative to budget and same-store metrics.
Develop controls and assign responsibility for key P&L and Balance Sheet line items.
