About The Position

This is a 90-day contract opportunity in Logansport focused on hardware asset management and e-recycling. This is an entry-level to junior-level position and will be 100% onsite. There is potential for the role to expand beyond the initial engagement.

Requirements

Basic Excel skills.
Experience using or willingness to learn ServiceNow.
Hardware handling experience (PCs, laptops, IT equipment).
Strong attention to detail and inventory tracking abilities.
Ability to perform hands-on physical work throughout the day.
Reliable, trustworthy, and able to follow PHI/data-handling procedures.
Strong organizational and time management skills.

Nice To Haves

Hardware deployment, desktop support, or asset management experience.
Experience with IT asset disposition (ITAD), hardware refresh, asset recovery, or electronic recycling processes.
Understanding of data security best practices related to device decommissioning and disposal.
Familiarity with asset lifecycle management concepts.
Experience working in regulated environments (healthcare, financial services, government, etc.) is a plus.
Basic knowledge of PC hardware components, including hard drives, SSDs, memory modules, desktops, laptops, monitors, and peripherals.

Responsibilities

Process and track approximately 600 devices.
Remove memory and hard drives from old equipment.
Sort hardware into appropriate recycling/disposal containers.
Document and inventory devices, especially assets containing PHI.
Maintain accurate records in ServiceNow and Excel.
Experience scanning, tagging, labeling, and tracking assets in inventory management systems.
Ability to lift and move IT equipment (up to 40-50 lbs.) and stand/walk for extended periods.
Maintain accuracy while handling high volumes of assets.
