As an Asset Integrity Specialist III, you will ensure the integrity of the gathering and pipeline system against corrosion damage. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of four (4) years related work experience (for Specialist III)
  • High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of two (2) years related work experience (for Specialist II)
  • High School Diploma or GED (for Specialist I)
  • Demonstrates aptitude and ability to embrace technology and applications to drive operational efficiency and streamline processes
  • Needs proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the upmost priority
  • Must possess valid State Driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Basic knowledge of CFR Parts 192 Natural Gas and 195 Liquid Pipeline Regulations
  • Ability to acquire NACE CIP Level 1 Certification
  • Must possess NACE Cathodic Protection (CP) Level I Certification
  • Must acquire Operator Qualification (OQ)
  • Solid understanding of corrosion control mitigation methodology and corrosion mechanisms

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree in vocational, technical or business field (Preferred for all levels)
  • Preferred: Extensive knowledge of CFR Parts 192 Natural Gas Regulations
  • Preferred: Good understanding of basic D/C electrical circuits

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of tasks involved in troubleshooting, testing, calibrating, maintaining, installing and/or repairing malfunctions of the equipment in areas of expertise
  • Supports external/internal corrosion control programs, ensures adequate monitoring and mitigations, and follows DOT requirements
  • Processes corrosion data, generates, analyzes and communicates monthly reports; works with business partners to resolve issues
  • Provides guidance and project scoping for corrosion control issues
  • Performs the data integration and analysis process relating to corrosion control testing
  • Evaluates performance of equipment and makes adjustments as necessary and performs pipeline integrity surveys
  • Provides company wide support and training, including standards and procedures development
  • Other duties as assigned
