About The Position

The Asset Information Manager directs the strategic management, optimization, and lifecycle performance of assets for a major rail station construction project, ensuring integration with the program management systems, compliance with their project and client requirements, and alignment with operational, and stakeholder objectives.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage budgets and optimize costs.
  • Familiarity with digital tools like BIM, IoT, and predictive maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage comprehensive asset strategy aligned with project goals, integrating lifecycle planning, maintenance, and operational efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain an accurate inventory of physical and digital assets, including infrastructure, systems, and equipment, asset data tools
  • Develop plans for asset acquisition, utilization, maintenance, and decommissioning to maximize value and minimize costs over the asset lifecycle.
  • Work with project stakeholders, including designers, contractors, operators, and integrators, to align asset management with project and operational needs.
  • Manage asset data collection and analysis to monitor performance, and support decision-making.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to asset performance, reliability, and obsolescence, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Define KPIs for asset performance, track metrics, and provide regular reports to project leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure assets comply with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental guidelines specific to rail infrastructure.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers for asset procurement, maintenance contracts, and service agreements, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Facilitate smooth transitions during asset upgrades or installations, communicating effectively with stakeholders to ensure operational continuity.
  • Leverage digital tools, to enhance asset tracking, performance monitoring.
  • Drive ongoing improvements in asset management processes to enhance efficiency, reliability, and project outcomes.
