Performs moderately complex managerial work administering statewide asset inventory and acquisition operations for Texas Health and Human Services. Manages the daily activities of the assigned business function; establishes goals, schedules, priorities, and performance standards; develops and evaluates policies and procedures; monitors compliance; and prepares management and productivity reports. Oversees asset acquisition, tagging, system entry, physical inventory, reconciliation, and quality-control activities. Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to maintain accurate asset records and operational readiness. Plans and monitors assigned resources and budget activities and supervises the work of others. Works under general supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
