About The Position

As an Assessment Unit Counselor (QMHP), you’ll play a vital role in helping individuals and families navigate behavioral health challenges and build устойчив, healthier futures. Requirements

  • Strong clinical interviewing, assessment, and counseling skills
  • The ability to analyze client needs and adjust interventions based on progress
  • Knowledge of community resources and service systems
  • Comfort using EHR systems and virtual communication tools
  • A solution‑oriented mindset and strong professional judgment
  • A client‑focused approach with excellent communication skills
  • Master’s Degree in a human services or behavioral health field (licensure‑eligible required)
  • At least 1 year of experience in behavioral health or a related setting
  • QMHP / licensure eligibility required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Current auto insurance

Responsibilities

  • Connect with newly referred clients and families within two business days, helping them feel supported from day one
  • Complete intake assessments and guide clients through program expectations and required documentation
  • Create person‑centered and family‑centered care plans tailored to each client’s unique needs
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, community support, care coordination, and crisis intervention
  • Monitor treatment progress and participate in service plan reviews to ensure effective, evolving care
  • Coordinate with internal teams and community partners to connect clients to meaningful resources
  • Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation using the electronic health record (EHR) system
