About The Position

This full-time position provides diagnostic assessments, crisis intervention, triage, treatment recommendations, and coordination of care for individuals seeking behavioral health services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a mental health or related field
• Ohio licensure through the Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board
• Strong communication, customer service, organization, and computer skills
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• Ability to gain knowledge of current practice management system, electronic medical record, Microsoft Word, text paging, Internet, and Intranet
• Ohio behavioral health licensure
• Ability to manage crisis situations
• Ability to maintain clinical documentation
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external providers

Nice To Haves

• AoD assessment experience and licensure preferred

Responsibilities

• Completes diagnostic assessments
• Provides crisis stabilization and triage
• Coordinates treatment recommendations
• Links clients with appropriate services
• Collaborates with providers and finance staff
• Completes timely clinical documentation
• Participates in team meetings
• Maintains compliance with documentation standards
• Performs all other duties and tasks as assigned
