About The Position

This full-time position provides diagnostic assessments, crisis intervention, triage, treatment recommendations, and coordination of care for individuals seeking behavioral health services. The role involves completing diagnostic assessments, providing crisis stabilization and triage, coordinating treatment recommendations, linking clients with appropriate services, collaborating with providers and finance staff, completing timely clinical documentation, and participating in team meetings. The therapist must maintain compliance with documentation standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a mental health or related field
  • Ohio licensure through the Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to gain knowledge of current practice management system, electronic medical record, Microsoft Word, text paging, Internet, and Intranet
  • Ability to manage crisis situations
  • Ability to maintain clinical documentation
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external providers
  • Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
  • Occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
