About The Position

The Assessment Specialist RN is responsible for supporting the needs of the department with a focus on clinical, operational, and administrative excellence. This role is part of a diversified healthcare delivery network committed to making communities healthier. The position is PRN (as needed).

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing.
• Reports to: Assessment Manager/Supervisor
• Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred
• Experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
